C: Setting the SW6 Jumper Switch

1) Turn off the computer.

2) Remove the keyboard by pressing the 4 latches at the top (figure 4-8) and

gently lifting it out of the notebook.

3) Place the keyboard as shown

(figure 4-9).

Step C is only

necessary if your

new memory

module is a differ-

ent type than

your previous one.

If the previous

memory module

was a PC-100

and the new

module is a PC-

133 or vice-versa,

then you must

proceed with
